full spectrum oil
‘Full-spec’ oils are considered to provide the widest range of benefits, as they contain all the different compounds found in the plant. This includes all of the various cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and more. However, these oils do contain amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabinol (CBN) both of which are considered narcotics by the UN, and most countries have strict regulations regarding the use of those compounds.

‘Broad-spec’ oils are very similar to ‘Full-spec’, except that some cannabinoids, such as THC and CBN have been removed. In some cases a combination of compounds, such as the different terpenes or flavonoids have also been removed. We have the ability to tailor our broad spectrum oils to best fit the desired product formulation, which gives you the ability to manipulate the cannabinoids present and the overall taste and aroma.

Flavonoids are the compounds responsible for the way most plants and fruits taste. They are one of the largest nutrient families known to scientists and include over 6,000 already identified family members. About 20 of these compounds, including apigenin, quercetin, cannflavin A and cannflavin B (so far unique to cannabis), β-sitosterol, vitexin, isovitexin, kaempferol, luteolin and orientin have been identified in the cannabis plant.
Terpenes
Terpenes, otherwise known as essential oils, are the compounds responsible for the way most plants smell. They are particularly abundant in cannabis and many other plants, fruits, and herbs. The cannabis plant contains of a wide variety of these “terps” that consist of over 140 compounds with many unique and individual properties. These are responsible for the complex and strong aroma of cannabis and can be found in seemingly endless combinations.
